What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?

The positives of being an NBA dancer greatly outweigh the negatives. It can be stressful at times, but definitely worth every minute.

What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?

There have been a few crazy ones. Leaving flowers and notes on my car after a game, finding my email address and sending virtual flowers, and actually showing up in one of my classes when I was in college.

When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?

I am an Executive Assistant/Corporate Meeting Planner, so that takes up my time during the weekdays. I enjoy choreographing, teaching dance, jogging, and kickboxing.

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

I have been with the Atlanta Hawks for several years now so I’ve had the opportunity to cheer for the team during a few tough seasons and watched the rebuilding of the team to now have back-to-back winning seasons. The organization and fans pushed through the tough times together, and it’s been so fun to see how the fans have stuck with the team, especially living in a city where not many people are actually from here. That’s why I will always be a loyal Hawks fan, and believe they are the best team to cheer for.

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

I have to go with Michael Jordan. He is the classic icon of the NBA, and always will be in my opinion.

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?

My next dream is to get into ultimate fighting, of course after I'm done with my dance life.

Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?

The hottest on-screen cheerleader would have to be Hayden Panettiere. I think she made the cutest cheerleader!

What’s the nightlife for you? Stay in and relax, or it’s the weekend, bring back college?

I spend 6 or more days out of week dancing, so I like to kick back and watch a movie. I try to enjoy the nightlife of Atlanta at least once a week with a few of my friends, just to let loose.

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

Atlanta is a great place to live and the people here make the best fans come game time. There's nothing like the energy at Phillips Arena during game time. It's the best feeling when you can tell the fans are really into the game.

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

Although I don't have an all-time favorite, Jamal Crawford is growing on me.  His style is so graceful yet swift. He blows by defenders and never seems to miss a shot!

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?

Becoming an Atlanta Hawks A-Town Dancer was on the top goal on my list. I dream big and now that this dream has come true I have to set higher goals for the seasons to come. I’m a rookie and not being promised a spot back next season, I cherish every moment that I get and want to become more then just a face and talent for this league.  My future goal to continue with the hawks, have more time to make a footprint in this organization as someone who is devoted, looked up to and respected. I want to use the opportunity not to only do what I love and to improve, but to reach out and be a strong ambassador in this city for one of the best teams in the NBA.

What’s the worst cheerleading injury you’ve ever had?

I fell out of my partners hands in college and came straight down onto my right leg.  I pulled two ligaments in my ankle and tore cartilage in my right knee.  This was in front of a huge crowd so not only as it my worst injury, it was awfully embarrassing.

When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?

I’m always dancing! Literally, I dream eight counts! It doesn't help that I sing and have a huge passion for music, so normally when people find me, my music is on which means I’m probably singing and dancing still. Other than that it’s either at the mall or on the treadmill!

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

We have the best fans, best arena, best atmosphere, and best energy and our team is the best of the best!

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

Michael Jordan. He's all I knew in basketball growing up and all I followed, I definitely stole my brothers Jordan bomber jacket from him back in the day.

A dream of mine after dancing is to be on a sitcom! I love making people laugh and I've always wanted to be on TV. But my main goal after dancing would be to become a teacher. :)

The best thing is being at a game, when the lights turn down for starting line up to be called I always get excited as if it were very first game! The worst thing is that I have little time with all my practicing!

Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?

Ali Larter in Varsity Blues was scandalous and became forever one of the hottest on-screen cheerleaders.

When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?

At school. I am a biology major and chemistry minor so science classes keep me very busy. I also may be participating in a pageant, because I enjoy pageantry and am the reigning Miss Georgia State University as well as the reigning Miss Georgia National.

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

The Atlanta Hawks are the absolute best team to dance for because we have incredibly talented players and I know that we can surprise many skeptics by being a team to look out for in the finals which provides our fans a lot to be excited about!

Both, It really just depends on the night! If I've had a long day of workouts and practice- you can bet my butt's going to be on the couch curled up in a snuggie. If I've had an awesome game & all the girls are in the mood, we paint the town!

Once I was out with friends, and a guy walked straight up to me, grabbed my left hand, knelt on one knee and said You're the perfect girl. Lets skip all this relationship stuff- Will you marry me? My jaw hit the floor!

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

The Hawks are the best because we are taking it all the way this year! You can see it in their eyes, there’s a definite passion and dedication for this game. When they're focused you can't touch them.

Dominique Wilkins! He is so respected in Atlanta not only because he is one of the greatest scorers in NBA history, but he is a very classy and nice person. I have never seen him turn down an autograph, picture, or conversation with a fan.
