This week we have the Chicago Bulls Dancers, who keep the Windy City hot, even in the winter!

2009 Chicago Bulls Dancers-
It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?
My dream is to host my own show, that allows me to travel the world and experience any and everything extreme, from food to sports to nightlife. If it’s crazy and can be done, I’m there! I love having that rush that gets my adrenaline pumping. When I was younger, I always told myself that I would take over Brooke Burke’s job hosting Wild on E! We can bring it back and call it, Wild With T (one of my nicknames), eh? Any takers, let me know! Oh, and I wouldn’t complain if I had Bridget’s gig on the Travel Channel!
Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?
Well, I did settle down with an amazing (and good looking) guy. I would have to say that he is a “Jerd,” if that makes any sense. He’s kind of a tweener, so a little bit of both! I don’t think I could handle just one or the other to tell the truth.
What’s the nightlife for you? Stay in and relax, or it’s the weekend, bring back college?
I prefer to stay in and relax mostly. I do like to go out with my friends after work to have a drink and talk and laugh about any and everything. On the weekend, I like to go out where it’s not too crowded, and I can enjoy the company of whomever I’m with without screaming. Although, every once and a while, I just have to get dressed up and go out dancing with my girls!
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
The Chicago Bulls are the best team to cheer for because of the fans for sure! Chicago has a really great sports atmosphere, and it makes this city so amazing to live in and be part of.
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
I love Antonio McDyess. He plays for the Spurs now, but he used to play with the Pistons while I was there. I think it was because Mason the announcer always said his name really cool like, “miggidda miggidda miggidda miggidda dyess dyess dyess!” every time he scored. I always tried to imitate him, and then it just kind of stuck with me! Then we did an appearance together, and he was so down to earth.

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?
I recently founded a non-profit organization in which all of the proceeds benefit children by promoting active, healthy lifestyles through sports and recreation. The organization was created in memory of a close friend and my next dream is for the charity to gain support and positively influence younger generations for years to come.
Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?
Jaime Pressly in Not Another Teen Movie. Not only is she great to look at, but her character touched on every cheerleader stereotype out there—hot and hilarious.
When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?
Outside. I love taking my dog to the park, heading to festivals, and relaxing at North Avenue beach in the summer.
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
There are no fans better than Chicago fans. They are amazing, and truly love the Bulls.
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
Come on, I dance for the Bulls! Michael Jordan is the greatest player to ever step on the court.

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?
It’s hard to pick one best thing. It is just an amazing feeling to dance in front of such great fans! The worst thing would probably be the challenge of juggling our busy schedules with work, family and friends.
Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?
Why not a little of both! I want my man to treat me like a lady, be smart and be able to make me laugh. Also, big and strong to pick up my bags…and me!
What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?
We had a charity golf outing for the Bulls. Apparently, some guy saw me at the outing and decided, after the event, that he wanted to meet me. At practice the next week, my director handed me an envelope, addressed to me that included a letter and picture from him. I decided to respond, and we actually had a great date!
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
I love our team because they are capable of surprising us. When least expected, they can pull out a win.
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
Michael Jordan, because he's a great example of how setting goals, working hard, and being dedicated can be a great formula for success.

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?
It would be awesome to cheer for the Bulls at the 2010 NBA Championship!
What’s the worst cheerleading injury you’ve ever had?
While practicing a dance routine in high school, I scraped off part of my left big toe on the fire place in my family room. It was pretty bloody and gross. My toe eventually healed, and it looks totally normal now!
When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?
When I'm not dancing, I'm a work five days a week. I'm also at the mall a lot, because I love to shop!
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
Besides the Luvabulls as entertainment, the Bulls have so many other amazing performers, such as Benny the Bull, the Junior Luvabulls, the Stampede drumline, Swingin' Seniors, The Bucket Boys, Bulls Zidz, IncrediBulls, and the Matadors! The actual basketball game is enjoyable to watch, but the game entertainment is why the games are so much fun to cheer at!
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
Michael Jordan is the reason I got turned on to pro basketball. Although I did see Joakim Noah improv dancing on the teleprompter earlier this year, so I've become a huge fan of him too!

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?
My next dream or goal would be to choreograph for a great performer like Beyonce or Britney Spears. Also, I secretly would really love to be on the TV show So You Think You Can Dance.
Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?
Gabrielle Union in Bring It On. Most on-screen cheerleaders have to play the stuck-up, snobby type, and she was the exact opposite!
What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?
I had a guy that lived in my building that would try and do anything to impress me. He sent a huge bouquet of roses to my apartment, left notes underneath my door, and one time at a club, he sent a bottle of Dom Perignon over to my table with me and all of my girlfriends. Needless to say I was flattered, but I live in a different building now.
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
Two major reasons: 1) The Chicago Bulls; 2) The girls. Dancing for the Bulls was a dream I’ve had since I was a little girl, I mean who doesn’t want to be on the floor of the stadium where Michael Jordan played? And the girls on the team truly make my experience with the Luvabulls. I couldn’t have asked to be in a better place.
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
This one may be obvious, but Michael Jordan is my all-time favorite NBA player because of what he did for the game of basketball, and the city of Chicago. When we travel overseas and people see the Chicago Bulls logo, everyone recognizes us and yells, “Michael Jordan!” even though most of them do not speak English. I can’t help but have a great amount of respect for anyone that can do that in a sport.

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?
The best thing about being a NBA dancer is the opportunities it has provided me. I have danced at playoff games, traveled internationally, and met basketball legends. On the other hand, one of the more difficult aspects of being a NBA cheerleader is the constant pressure we place on ourselves. I’m always aware of people’s expectations and standards, which can get overwhelming at times. But let’s face it, that’s a small price to pay.
Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?
My immediate reaction is to pick a nerd. However, my preferences seem to indicate differently. I like to think I’m attracted to someone who looks like a jock, but doesn’t act like one. In fact, I don’t like to choose; why can’t I have the best of both worlds!
When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?
When I’m not dancing, people can find me either at work, out and about town, or studying. I work as a bridal consultant, and am preparing to take my licensed professional counselor exam, now that I've finished my masters in clinical psychology. Yet I try to balance work and play, so there is a good chance I’m out enjoying my city as well.
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
My team is the best to cheer for two main reasons. First, we have the best fans! We always have a packed house, and the fans do a great job of making us feel we are an important part of the game. Secondly, the women I work with. I can honestly say the ladies I dance with constantly challenge me to be a better person, and are some of the best friends I've ever had in my life.
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
My all-time favorite basketball player is Scottie Pippen. I believe Scottie played an important role in making Jordan as great as he was, and was instrumental in leading our team to all our victories. Scottie was a great team player and fun to watch, so let’s wish him luck as he becomes eligible for induction into the hall of fame in 2010!

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?
Every year as a NBA dancer, I’m always looking to challenge myself and improve my dancing skills. I want to be able to perform all styles of dance, and be a well-rounded dancer. My ultimate goal is to dance on Broadway. To be part of the dance ensemble in Chicago or a chorus line would be a dream come true, and I can’t imagine how it would allow me to grow as a person and as a dancer.
Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?
I can’t choose either or. For me, it depends on many different characteristics, such as his personality, communication skills, humor, honesty, trust and friendship. He can be attractive not only physically, but also because of who he truly is and how he carries himself. I think a jock and a nerd are capable of having all these qualities.
What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?
I was at my fitness club in one of the dance studios rehearsing on my own, and a random guy came into the dance studio and started to make small talk with me. After a five-minute conversation, he had asked me to be his date to a wedding! Whatever happened to, “Can I call you sometime?”
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
I’ve grown up being a fan of the Bulls franchise. The Bulls players have had so much talent, drive and passion for the game, for which I admire.
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
Michael Jordan, of course! Growing up in Chicago during the Jordan era, and watching Michael break records and bring six championships to the city is unforgettable. He made the game so exciting. He was not only a basketball player, but also an entertainer, showing us his sweet moves and his unbelievable talent. He is so much a part of Chicago, and his legacy is a huge contribution to what the Bulls organization is today.

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?
Now that I've accomplished becoming a professional cheerleader and Miss Illinois USA 2009, I would have to say my next dream would be to become a television host on a show related to fitness, sports or entertainment.
Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?
Eliza Dushku from Bring It On. She's strong, confident and doesn't fit the mold of a typical cheerleader.
What’s the nightlife for you? Stay in and relax, or it’s the weekend, bring back college?
Definitely a combination of both. Some nights are perfect for staying in, curling up on the couch and watching a movie with a glass of wine. But other nights are just meant for getting glammed up and heading out to my favorite nightspot, Underground.
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
The history of the Chicago Bulls is one of the most exciting in the league. Michael Jordan and the championship teams brought world-wide recognition to the Chicago Bulls Organization. Whenever we travel outside of the country, everybody recognizes the Bulls logo and name (therefore they recognize the Luvabulls). It's an honor to cheer for such an amazing franchise. And who doesn't recognize the Chicago Bulls theme song?
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
Michael Jordan. There's no question as to what he has done for the NBA, the Bulls organization and basketball as a whole. I will admit though, that my first Bulls Jersey was a Dennis Rodman one. I thought he was a great player. And who doesn't love the occasional bad boy?

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?
The best is sitting courtside at Bulls games! I get the best seat in the house at every game. Also, I've traveled to Amsterdam, Paris, Istanbul, and Hong Kong to perform with the Luvabulls. The worst is balancing my dance schedule with my full-time job. It can be a challenge, but it's worth it.
Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?
Will Ferrell as a Spartan cheerleader in the SNL skit. I love a man in a uniform, and he knows how to make those polyester pants look good. But seriously, the sexiest thing in the world is the ability to make me laugh, so I would for sure put him at the top of my sexy cheerleader list.
What’s the nightlife for you? Stay in and relax, or it’s the weekend, bring back college?
It depends. A glass of wine, warm blanket, and a movie sounds like a good night to me. But, come on, I live in a great city, so I take advantage of the nightlife when I can fit it in. I love to get dressed up and go dancing with the girls.
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
Chicago is by far the best sports city, with the best fans, in the world! Bulls fans absolutely live up to that. The fans are phenomenal, the energy in the stadium is out of control, and our team has soul. Being an NBA dancer alone is pretty amazing, but dancing for the Chicago bulls means you're cheering with the best fans in the world.
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
Kind of a gimme asking a Bulls dancer...Michael Jordan! He changed the whole game. He raised the bar for every player in the league. We have, and will continue to see other amazing players, but there will never be another MJ.

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?
Becoming a Luvabull has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. Now that I've accomplished that dream, I think my next goal will be to continue a career in dance. I would love to dance in a hip-hop music video or become a back up dancer for someone as talented as Janet Jackson or Britney Spears.
What’s the worst cheerleading injury you’ve ever had?
When I fell on my knees at a dance audition in high school. I tend to bruise like a peach, and my knees were black and blue for almost two weeks! No amount of makeup could cover up the damage from that fall. It wasn’t the most painful injury I’ve ever had, but it was definitely the ugliest.
What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?
After one of the Bulls games last year, a young, handsome gentleman stopped me as I was leaving the stadium. He told me that he knew I was the girl he wanted to marry and would marry me that minute if I was willing. After shyly laughing it off, he then asked to go on a date with me because he was convinced that after one date he could get me to fall in love with him. Even though I was intrigued at how confident he was, I politely declined and never saw him again. I wonder if he really could have stolen my heart after one date? That would be quite impressive.
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
The Chicago Bulls are the best team to cheer for because of all the history and tradition that comes with the Bulls organization. A lot of talent has passed through the Chicago Bulls! From Johnny “Red” Kerr to Michael Jordan, every time I step on to the United Center court, I get chills just knowing that so many legendary players have played on it. It is truly an honor to be a part of a team that has such a historical impact on the NBA.
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
My all-time favorite NBA player would have to be Scottie Pippen. When I was a little girl, I idolized him and cheered for him every game from my living room alongside my dad. When I finally met him at a Bulls charity event, I was pleased to see that he was everything I had hoped he would be. He was so down to earth and took the time to talk to all of his fans. And let’s not forget that he did play for my favorite team, the Chicago Bulls.

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?
The best thing about being an NBA dancer is dancing in front of 20,000 fans and, of course, traveling overseas and performing at International basketball tournaments. The hardest part is juggling my schedule, with school, work, and the Luvabulls.
Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?
I guess I would have to say nerd. Maybe we could try to be semi-athletic together though!
When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?
When I'm not dancing, people can find me teaching, out running errands, or out and about on the weekends.
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
Chicago is the best sports city in the world. The Bulls have an awesome history of six NBA championships and Michael Jordan. Also, Derrick Rose was Rookie of the Year last year!
