Dunking Dancers: Sure, watching LeBron, Kobe, D-Wade, and the rest of our favorite hoopsters is great, but we'd much rather watch the court during timeouts and halftimes! Because you don't want anyone else leading you in YMCA, we wanted to give you the hottest NBA Dancers this season. This week are the Dallas Mavericks Dancers, who show us why Big D's so hot!

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?

The best thing about being a NBA dancer would have to be meeting different people. I love to meet and greet the fans. It's amazing when you meet little girls that look up to you so much and are just excited to say hello. I always think about myself when I was their age and what it meant to me, so I try to give a little extra. The worst thing about being a NBA dancer is that we are always stereotyped. I hate that, but it comes with the job. I've been dancing in the NBA for many years and I have met a lot of women. It's so much more to us than pom-poms. There are some very intelligent and incredible women behind the performances.

What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?

It was the 4th quarter, we had just run off the court, and some random guy proposed to me with a coke. It was crazy. The bright side is that I remembered him.

Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?

I would only settle down with a nerdy jock. It sounds funny, but I need my man to be fine, handsome and athletic, but also smart, sensitive and organized. I want a man that's passive with me but can defend my honor. I want the best of both worlds.

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

The Dallas Mavericks have the best entertainment in the NBA. We have the loudest fans and they make the games so fun and exciting. Dallas Mavericks. Rowdy, Loud, Proud!

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

Micheal Jordan! I love MJ! He's the best player of all-time. I remember watching him when I was young and some of the things he did made me believe he had magic. All those last second shots, moving like the ball was connected to him and leaping from what looked like half court. I couldn't believe a man could do all that and still be that handsome. I really used to believe he was a super hero!!

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?

The best thing is definitely being on the court performing and doing community projects with my favorite organization NBA Cares. The worst...I have yet to find out.

When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?

I'm bit of a workaholic. I enjoy every minute I devote to my career, but when I do get a second off, I'm usually at the dog park with Sparky, spending time with family or reading a good book at the local coffee shop.

What’s the worst cheerleading injury you’ve ever had?

I had a broken toe once. It doesn't sound painful, but it was excruciating having to dance on it.

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

I love the Dallas Mavericks in every way. I admire both Mark Cuban and Donnie Nelson for their success and charity work. We have great additions to this year's roster to compliment our former Mavs, and we're proud to have the support of great fans in the beautiful city of Dallas.

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

Larry Legend! Larry Bird was an outstanding shooter to say the least.

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?

The best thing about dancing for the NBA is being able to perform for 20,000 fans alongside seventeen of my beautiful teammates. The most difficult part is having to watch what I eat, because I love all kinds of foods - especially sweets.

What’s the nightlife for you? Stay in and relax, or it’s the weekend, bring back college?

A perfect night to me is staying in with a bottle of wine, ordering some take-out and snuggling up to a good movie.

What’s the worst cheerleading injury you’ve ever had?

I was in the middle of a routine and landed a jump wrong. My leg buckled, and my kneecap completely popped out of the socket. I ended up having two knee surgeries and spent my entire summer on crutches!

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

The Mavericks have some of the most talented athletes in the league, and our fans bring an amazing energy to the arena. The dancers have also been consistently ranked among the best dance teams in the NBA.

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

Mark Price! I grew up in Cleveland, and my Dad used to take me to see him play at Cavs games as a little girl. He still sticks out in my mind as one of the best shooters in NBA history.

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?

There are so many great things about being a NBA dancer! I love the camaraderie with the other dancers and the experiences I'm fortunate to have.

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’vie reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?

Honestly, I'm so grateful for this opportunity that I'm still just taking it all in! But earning my degree in mathematics is my next big step.

What’s the nightlife for you? Stay in and relax, or it’s the weekend, bring back college?

Of course, Dallas night life is so much fun. But take me to a good sushi steak house and "Sprinkles" (a famous Dallas Cupcakery) and I'm yours!

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

I love cheering for the Mavs. The owner has a winning attitude and the whole organization is a great company to work for. Plus, the dancers are amazing!

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

Michael Jordan has to be my all-time favorite NBA player. Growing up in Chicago, he was a family name. I love his work ethic and I think he's a phenomenal athlete.

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?

The best thing about being a NBA dancer would have to be doing something I love such as dancing. On top of that, you get to dress up in cute outfits and cheer on a professional basketball team, its exhilarating. Go Mavs! The worst things would have to be not being able to dance on the court every game, since only a select amount dance each game.

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?

I would like to stay involved in professional sports somehow, like Jillian the weather woman for Fox NFL Sunday. Fun! A dream would have to be to settle down with the man of my dreams.

Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?

I hate to say it but if I had to pick one over the other, it would have to be a jock. They have nice bodies and you can always depend on them to handle the tough situations.

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

I've had opportunities to cheer for other teams but chose not to because I love the Mavericks. The whole organization is great and Mark Cuban is a great guy.

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

I really like Steve Nash! His playing style is so fun to watch. My first year on the team in 2002, Nash played for us, so I got to watch him live every night. I also had the opportunity to be in the first Mavs dancer calendar ever made, and wore a sweat band on my arm with his nickname "Nasty".
