How do you feel physically going into training camp?

I feel good; the body is back in shape to where it needs to be to compete. I just got to keep taking it slow and keep getting back into shape.

How do you feel about your offensive corps right now, as it stands?

I think we are still strong; we still got guys that can step up and make plays. You know, do what they need to do to contribute to the team.

You went first round in 2009, how does draft day feel?

It was one of the best experiences that you’ll ever go through; you’ll always remember it. My advice to those going through it is to just remember it’s your day. You come first. There is definitely anxiety; you don’t know what’s going to happen, but it’s an exciting anxiety.

Is there anyone in this draft class that you are especially looking forward to seeing play in the NFL?

It’s a good group of guys, a lot of role players who do what they do well inside a system. There’s a wide receiver out of USC, Robert Woods, I like his game a lot.

AND NOW: The Same 10 Questions We Always Ask Everybody!

What was the last thing you had to apologize for?

Probably not answering my phone for a relative.

What’s your favorite curse word/phrase?

I don’t want to do it, but I got to skip that one. I try to keep it clean.

What’s the worst hangover you’ve ever had?

Probably my freshman year in college at North Carolina.

I’m sure. They go hard there.

Oh, yeah.

What was your first car?

My first car was a 1988 Oldsmobile, I had it in 12th grade.

Do you have a scar that tells a story?

I had compartment syndrome, I had to get my leg cut open midway through my second season. It was swelled up and they had to drain it in order to save my foot.

Do you have a party trick?

I don’t.

So, your party trick is just being a super-talented wide receiver for the Giants?

Yeah, that’s it.

Well that definitely works. What’s the biggest thing you’ve ever put in your mouth?

[Laughs] I’m not answering that.

What’s the one thing to remember in a fist fight?

Always stick and move. Protect yourself at all times.

Who was the last person to see you naked?

That would be my girl.

Finish this sentence: If I ruled the world for a day, I would…

Probably something biblical. Not make everyone go to church, but make them pick up a Bible and read it.
