After allowing the Los Angeles Raiders dominate early, the Washington Redskins finally showed up to Super Bowl XVIII with an early second-half touchdown, cutting the deficit to 21-9. But Raiders running back and Super Bowl MVP Marcus Allen put the kibosh on any potential comeback, turning what looked to be a rush for no-gain into a scintillating, then-record-setting 74-yard race to the endzone.
