Dunking Dancers: Sure, watching LeBron, Kobe, D-Wade, and the rest of our favorite hoopsters is great, but we'd much rather watch the court during timeouts and halftimes! Because you don't want anyone else leading you in YMCA, we wanted to give you the hottest NBA Dancers this season. This week are the Minnesota Timberwolves Dancers, who we'd love to swim in some of those lakes with.

Minnesota Timberwolves Dancers- What’s the best thing about being a NBA dancer?
We have the best seats in the house! Who else gets to warm up on court with Jonny Flynn and Lebron James, only to cheer them on courtside? We get paid to sit in front of the most expensive seats in the house and cheer our Wolves to a victory!
What’s the worst cheerleading injury you’ve ever had?
Sadly I'm by far the clumsiest dancer on the team. Most recently we were learning a routine to Britney Spears' "3", when I jumped into the center splits only to land with my foot inverted, ending up with a sprained ankle. I was so upset! I had to miss two weeks of practice and games, but I'm back in full form again!
Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?
I'm a huge fan of the show Glee, and think that Quinn Fabray or Dianna Agron are super hot new cheerleaders on TV. The Cheerios squad add a hilarious element of dry humor. I'd have to say that show is a favorite of mine because they sing and dance!
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
We have an incredibly young team. It's fun to watch guys only a year or two older than I am out there against some of the biggest names in sports. Our young team packs a ton of energy and excitement, which makes any game, win or lose, incredibly fun.
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
With the level of talent playing today, it's hard to choose. I think on and off the court, my favorite player is Fred Hoiberg. A class act as both a player and professional, Fred and his beautiful family show the best side of the NBA. Fred is an all-around nice guy who was known for his hard work in the NBA as a team player, and who continues to work with the Wolves. He is as nice in person as he looks on TV, and that's a rare quality in professional athletes.

Minnesota Timberwolves Dancers-
It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?
Becoming a NBA dancer really was a huge accomplishment for me and I'm so fortunate to have this experience. Beyond that, I’m content to just keep dancing and performing as long as possible, and eventually start a family.
Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?
Definitely Dianna Agron as Quinn Fabray in Glee! I absolutely love Quinn’s classic, preppy style, and she is just so gorgeous!
Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?
Why not have the best of both worlds? Education has always been very important to me, but I’m also a really active person, so I could never settle for one or the other. That's why I married a computer science nerd who’s also a hockey and lacrosse jock!
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
The Timberwolves are an energetic young team and they put on an exciting show each game. And the fans are great too! You can’t beat “Minnesota nice”!
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
Right now my favorite, (on our team), is Jonny Flynn. He’s really fun to watch and has such a great attitude!

Minnesota Timberwolves Dancers-
It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?
I've danced for my entire life, and I’m so grateful that I get to continue! I hope to do this for a few years and someday move out to Los Angeles to dance.
Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?
I’d say a nerdy athlete is a good combination, brains and brawn.
When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?
You can find me at school, or at a café studying. I go to the mall and spend all of my money too! And I also try to make it to as many of my siblings sporting events as possible to cheer them on!
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
The Wolves are young and always look like they're having a great time on the court!
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
Kevin Garnett. I grew up watching and listening (on rides to and from dance class) to games with my dad, and I remember hearing and seeing how great of a player he was, and how great of a person he was.

Minnesota Timberwolves Dancers- It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?
My next goal is to do this all over again! Being a NBA dancer has been an amazing experience. I’m having the time of my life. My dream outside of dancing is graduating college and becoming a teacher… only one more year of school to go!
What’s the worst cheerleading injury you’ve ever had?
I tore a ligament in my left hip when I was a freshman in high school. I was doing a “six o’clock” and went into the splits really quickly. It was so painful I couldn’t get off the floor. I thought I popped my hip out of the socket. I wasn’t able to dance for almost two months.
When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?
I'm a full time student, so a lot of my time is spent at school. I also work part time. But when I’m not at school or work, I like going out for sushi dates with my boyfriend, and of course hanging out with the girls. I love spending time with my family too. They mean everything to me. They’re the best supporters out there!
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
The Timberwolves are the best team to cheer for because they are a team that has so much potential. They grow with every game, and are always putting up a good fight.
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
My all-time favorite NBA player would have to be LeBron James. He was the NBA’s MVP last year and is a superstar, “The King”!

Minnesota Timberwolves Dancers- What’s the best thing about being a NBA dancer?
The best thing about being a NBA dancer is definitely game night. I love being on the court and cheering the team to victory!
Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?
Gabrielle Union from Bring it On, I absolutely LOVE her attitude.
Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?
I usually fall for the jock because of their confidence and determination, but a guy has to be able to be a nerd when it’s just us. A well balance of both makes the perfect guy!
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
The Timberwolves are the best to cheer for because they are kind of seen as the underdog, and it’s a lot of fun to watch them fight for a win. If our cheering helps them achieve that win, then it's all worth it.
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
Michael Jordan is my favorite NBA player of all-time! He changed the game of basketball and set a standard of greatness that the players of today only dream to live up to.

Minnesota Timberwolves Dancers- What’s the best thing about being a NBA dancer?
I don't think I can name just one thing, since everything about the experience is amazing. I think whenever you combine your job with something you love, it's a wonderful combo. I love dancing and I love basketball, so I think that sums it up.
What’s the worst cheerleading injury you’ve ever had?
I've never had a cheerleading injury, so I'm crossing my fingers that it stays that way. I actually haven't broken a bone since I broke my ankle when I was three.
Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?
Hayden Panettiere in Heroes isn't only gorgeous but has got some moves, making her the hottest on-screen cheerleader.
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
I love cheering for the Timberwolves because it doesn't matter if we've had a tough game or we were winning all along. The fans are supporting the team every minute of the game right along with us. I love whenever we hit a hot time out! The energy in the Target Center is incredible!
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
My all time favorite NBA player is Magic Johnson. He's not just my favorite because he comes from Michigan, but because he was one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Growing up, everybody knew Magic. Him winning his gold medal in 1992 says it all.

Minnesota Timberwolves Dancers-
What’s the best thing about being a NBA dancer?
The best part of being a NBA dancer is getting to perform at all the games. Being able to dance in front of 15,000 fans is unreal. Another great aspect of being on the team is performing with, and spending time with, 11 other amazing women who all love what we do.
It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?
I feel very accomplished now that I've become a NBA dancer and NFL cheerleader. Next, I would like to start a career. I went to the University of Minnesota for Elementary Education, and am now going back to get a degree in Communications. I hope to work in public relations, and maybe with a professional sports team. I love to work with charitable organizations, so to set up events for them would be a great job!
When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?
I am a stay at home mom, so when I'm not at practice, I spend all my free time with my 2-year-old son, Talan. We spend a lot of time at the parks and lakes in Minneapolis. I also love to cook and do quite a bit of shopping at some amazing boutiques around my house. Our team also enjoys going to dinner and having drinks after games.
Why is your team the best to cheer for?
Have you heard of "Minnesota Nice"? Well, it's true. Everyone in the organization, from the players, coaches, game-day staff and the fans are truly amazing, and make our job so much fun. Other than that, our coaches and dancers are second to none, and we have an incredibly talented team. We are having an amazing season together and are all enjoying our time on the team.
Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?
My favorite player would have to be KG, Kevin Garnett. He's such a great basketball player, and spent many great years with the Wolves. Now that he's in Boston, I think my new favorite would have to be Jonny Flynn.
