It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?

I definitely plan to keep dancing in some form: whether as a pro dancer, pro dance team manager or choreographer, but my next dream or goal is more of a career goal. I’d like to set out to take my advertising/marketing degree into fashion! I’d love to start working for a brand/designer using my previous experience! Maybe try moving up to NYC or out to LA!

What’s the worst cheerleading injury you’ve ever had?

I actually grew up doing competitve all-star cheerleading and from all the impact of tumbling, jumping and what not, I fractured both growth plates in my heels at the same time. Ouch!

What’s the nightlife for you? Stay in and relax, or it’s the weekend, bring back college?

I’m happy doing either! I love to relax and enjoy quality time with special people I’m close to, but I also love getting out, being a social butterfly and dancing with my girls! Imagine that. ;)

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

I love cheering for the Thunder because we have a young, high-energy team who gets more & more exciting to watch every time they step out on the court! Also the energy from our fans makes it hard to not love cheering for the Thunder! It’s always a celebration!

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

I’m going to have to go with Chris Paul on this one.  I know he hasn’t been around long, but he is one of my favorites!

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?

Honestly everything about being an NBA dancer is amazing. You get to do what you love doing(dancing), you meet awesome girls that become life long friends, you get to cheer in front of thousands of crazy loud fans.. but maybe the only bad thing is that it is very tiring. You have to put a LOT of hard working hours into being an NBA dancer and it is physically and mentally tiring.

Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?

Kirsten Dunst for sure. The original Bring it On is a classic and I don’t think any other cheerleading movie has been able to top it.

What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?

One time at a concert there were 3 boys dancing in front of me, one slowly moved his way to dance behind me and all I did was shake my finger no, but if that was bad enough the other two boys did the exact same thing, you would think that atleast the third boy would get the hint I didn’t want to dance with him!

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

OKC Thunder is the best team to cheer for because not only do the players have so much passion for the game but so do the fans. I can honestly say that we have the loudest most supportive fans in the NBA and they are truly amazing!

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

Michael Jordan. He is the best basketball player of all-time! He made a mark on the basketball industry and I don’t know if any other player could ever top him!

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?

Best thing about being an NBA dancer is performing on court, staying physically fit through all the practices and physical training, and getting to be apart of a team where we challenge each other to be the best dance team. The big challenge with being an NBA dancer is the time commitment.

Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?

I would prefer to have a little of both sides-jock and nerd! Need brains along with being attractive.

What’s the worst cheerleading injury you’ve ever had?

Worst cheer injury was in high school at a dance training camp. I injured my right shoulder rotator cuff, and I still have problems with it.

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

The Thunder is the best NBA team to cheer for because our fans always pack out the Ford center and make every game loud and exciting! The players continue to improve and excite our fans at every game.

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

Favorite all-time NBA player is Michael Jordan, I remember watching him play on TV when I was younger and have always thought he was a classic.

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?

I want to pass on the experience of being on the Thunder Girls to all Japanese cheerleaders and dancers.  I moved to Oklahoma City from Japan this season so I can learn more about the NBA and professional dancing.  I want to take what I've learned so I can be involved in sports entertainment as the director of a dance team in the future.

What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?

I was handed a piece of paper that a guy wrote his telephone number on while I was dancing at a game.

When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?

Starbucks! I love Starbucks and I spend a lot of time studying English there.

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

Most of all, I really love Thunder Girls which I think the hottest team in NBA! Thunder Girls have a beautiful spirit, and that's why I love to be a part of this team so badly.

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?

The best thing about being an NBA dancer is actually getting to have a job that allows me to do what I love, dance and perform, at each home game of the season.  Nothing is bad about being an NBA dancer, but the hardest thing to me has been balancing my school work with my job.

Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader?

I'm going to have to say Sarah Michelle Gellar in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series.  What is hotter than cheering on your highschool squad by day and slaying vampires and demons by night?

What’s the nightlife for you? Stay in and relax, or it’s the weekend, bring back college?

I'm pretty much a homebody so I like to relax most of the time, but I also think it's important to have a balance between relaxing and having a good time.

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

The Oklahoma City Thunder is the best NBA team to cheer for because we are just beginning to pave our individual legacy in the NBA.  Most of our players are young and still have tons of potential to tap into so it should be very interesting to watch them progress and improve as the seasons go on.  Also, we have the best and loudest fans, so you will never be lonely!

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

My all-time favorite NBA player is Michael Jordan, simply because he is the best basketball player of my generation and even though some die-hard NBA fans will probably roll their eyes at this, because I loved him in Space Jam.

It was probably a huge accomplishment to become a NBA dancer, now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next dream or goal?

This has by far been the greatest accomplishment in my life and I am extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to become am NBA dancer. My next goal is to finish college and continue growing as an entertainer.

What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?

Well one guy gave me the worst pick up line ever! He said I like the way your dress blows in the wind!

What’s the nightlife for you? Stay in and relax, or it’s the weekend, bring back college?

I have long nights because we practice at night so after practice I have to drive home and I live like 30- 45 min away from practice, then I have to shower and eat and do any homework that I might have because I’m in college. Because I’m so busy during the week I usually just relax and hang out with my friends on the weekend, but occasionally I’ll go out.

Why is your team the best to cheer for?

My team is so unique because we have a group of women who have different background, different  interest, and different goals in life, and yet we are closer than any other team I have ever been on. The ladies on my team are like my family. We love each other and each one of the ladies is special to me. It also helps that we have a coach that really cares about us and wants us to succeed not only in our NBA career, but also in life. All of this added on to the fact that Oklahoma City is such a friendly and welcoming place, makes it amazing to cheer for. The Thunder as an organization really cares about our community and I believe the fans really care about the Thunder. Oklahoma City is just an amazing place to be.

Who is your all-time favorite NBA player? Why?

Thabo Sefolosha is quickly becoming one of my favorite players to watch. But my all-time favorite player is Steve Nash. He's such an dynamic player and I love watching him play.

What’s the best and worst thing about being a NBA dancer?

The best thing about being a NBA dancer is the fun and excitement of fans at the games and having 18 other dancers as close friends.  It is difficult to think of a worst thing; however, being a dancer does not allow much free time to visit my family that lives out of town.

When you’re not dancing, where can people find you?

You can find me working out or doing Thunder appearances in the community.  However, during the summer I enjoy wakeboarding or being at the lake with friends and family.

Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?

Jock. I like a guy who works out and is athletic; of course, he must also be intelligent.
