• Showered with it (I didn't take pictures of that. You're welcome)
  • Dropped it from about 3-feet (pocket-height) about 100 times
  • Put it in the freezer for a few hours
  • Let a baby smash it against the floor a bunch of times
  • Sat next to it and watched the one episode of Quarterlife that aired before it was cancelled
  • Even after all of that, the Survivor didn't drop a single byte of data. Of course all that toughness makes it a little bulkier than the traditional flash drive, but with 32 GB of storage, I'm still amazed that I can keep it on my keychain. Transfers were fast and the encryption was excellent as far as I can tell. No one has stolen my identity since it showed up and I'm going to assume I have this little guy to thank.

Even if you don't go all out and spend the $269 on the 32 GB version, this bad boy seems like a worth while investment for people who are tough on their flash drives. The 4 GB version will only run you about $30 on sale, which is a hell of a deal when you compare it against losing a bunch of data when you drop your drive in the toilet.
