The street cred and smooth rides that Bentleys provide are matched only by the incredible prices they demand. But there's a cause for all of that cost and the wood inlay is a big part of it. Every car gets a stip of wood that completely surrounds the interior. It doesn't sound that impressive until you consider that the whole thing is done completely by hand. The process involves several rounds of gluing, sanding and polishing and the result is a flawless finish. One thing I didn't know was that all of the wood is done so that if you cut the car in half length-wise, each side would be exactly the same. That kind of attention to detail is what really seperates a car from a truly awesome car. I can't even be bothered to clean the Fritos out of the carpet of my ride. If I just keep smashing them, they'll eventually just become part of the car. A salty part.
