I can't get mine to work is there a trick when twisting the wires together? I get no connection no matter what I do.

I have not tried this but I have rewired headphones before. In my opinion you would be better off using both speakers from the headset, DO NOT CUT ANY WIRES, instead just mount both speakers on the same side of the box, then seal the box up with glue even around the wires. This potentially will work like a speakerbox in the trunk of a car and the airspace helps the acoustics of those tiny speakers.

So... I had the same problem as you guy's, I checked around and found you need to burn away the fibre thats in each wire. Worked for me!

speakers require two wires to conduct electricity to the magnet no matter the size.these headphones have a wire with two hair thin wires inside .it would be impossible to separate them. try a little larger set of headphones as the wires will be easier to connect to the small speaker
