On Tuesday, Dec 1st, one of America’s most iconic brands, Schott NYC, and luxury department store Barneys New York will launch the exclusive 4-piece Heritage Capsule Collection, comprised of two classic Perfecto motorcycle jackets, a café racer, and an updated version of their original pea coat, made for the US Military during WWII.

The Perfecto, designed by Irving Schott in 1928, was the first asymmetrical leather motorcycle jacket, and the first piece of outerwear to feature a zip. Ever. We guess before that people were just using rope. It was worn by Marlon Brando in The Wild One, James Dean, and The Ramones, and now you too can join the ranks of these rakish American icons.

The leather jackets will retail for $995, and the pea coat for $595. Available (from today!) at www.barneys.com.
