Smartwatches are the calculator watches of the 21st century, big blunt things that draw attention to your wrist. They're more useful, but that doesn't make them more graceful. Fortunately, Kairos has come up with a clever twist on the genre that discretely adds smart functions (weather, email, texts, and so on) to a traditional mechanical watch. The guts of the line, the first of which is the MSW115, is a fairly standard mid-range Swiss movement, but the special sauce is in the crystal. Instead of the standard glass or sapphire, it’s a transparent OLED screen that’s nearly invisible when inactive. Finally, you can have your alerts on your wrist, and no one will be any the wiser.
