Is A-Rod An Asshole? Twitter Weighs In

We think the case can be summed up in 140 characters or less.

On first glance, this weekend’s news looks to be a pretty big bummer for Alex Rodriguez, with the slugger currently fighting for his survival in court (yes, we said survival – how do you expect him to subsist merely on the hundreds of millions of dollars he’s made so far?). His ban for using steroids was reduced to 162 games (which just so happens to be the exact number of games in the 2014 season) by an arbitrator, and 60 Minutes released a would-be damning account of his crimes. Except, the pendulum started to swing the other way – the sentence was pegged as arbitrary and the 60 Minutes report was seen as nothing more than a coup with the MLB to further smear A-Rod’s name.

As always, the Twittersphere had some strong, and hilarious, opinions on the sentence and report.
