Free throws in Toronto Raptors games have suddenly become can’t miss TV. On Monday night, Raptors big man Amir Johnson wanted to touch the basketball between J.J. Hickson’s free-throw attempts. He reached for the ball, but official David Jones wrestled the ball away from Johnson and headed to the scorers’ table to hand out Johnson’s ejection. Johnson responded by hurling his mouthpiece at Jones, striking the official in the back. He has since been suspended for the incident.
