How You Know Her: She made her film debut as a spirited, sexy cheerleader in the comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous and appeared opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Catch Me If You Can. But, it was the indie movie Junebug that earned her an Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actress. Since then, Amy's hit it big with movies like Enchanted and Charlie Wilson's War. Her recent role in Doubt landed her yet another Academy Award nomination, again in the category of Best Supporting Actress and she's scored another indie hit with her movie Sunshine Cleaning. Now, she stars as Amelia Earhart in the comedy Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, out in theaters this Friday. We highly doubt the real Amelia looked this good in a bomber jacket.

What a Hoot: "Well, you know, I’d spent a lot of time doing theater and hanging around in tights and leotards. I wasn’t overly shy, so I couldn’t imagine there’d be much difference [working at Hooters]—a little pair of shorts, a little top...Uh, there was a big difference!" -Parade
