When the trailer for Allied dropped, showing Brad Pitt ensnared in some WWII espionage with beautiful French actress Marion Cotillard, comparisons were immediately drawn to Brad and Angelina’s on-screen/off-screen romance in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, wherein Brad reportedly left wife Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie.

Now, in the ultimate case of art imitating life, Brad Pitt’s two-year marriage (and 11-year relationship) to Angelina Jolie is officially kaput, with rumors surfacing that his Allied co-star was behind the split.

That’d make Marion Cotillard the nouveau Angelina, while Angelina has been relegated to Jennifer-status. Even more scandalous is Marion is in a years-long relationship with leading French actor Guillaume Canet, and they even have a kid together (quelle horreur!).
