Prostitution isn’t just for 25-year-old virgins and television critics; the rich and kinky like to pay for their sex, too! USA raids Hollywood’s wealthiest bedrooms in Call Me, stumbling through the story of Heidi Fleiss (played by The Sopranos’ Jamie Lynn DiScala) as she whores her way from gold-digging escort to Hollywood madam in just under two commercial breaks. A bounty of lingerie-clad escorts and cable network sex scenes arouses interest, but the story goes tits up in its few attempts at substance—Heidi’s not nearly as intriguing holed up in a rehab center with her dad. The film glazes over major details, like her final bust and her exploits following sentencing, and refuses to drop major industry names—just like every news report since her 1993 arrest. Guess we’ll have to wait for Charlie Sheen’s next bounced check to hear the real story.
