It's time to start mourning the loss of your favorite NBC comedies.

The cat's out of the bag: there will no longer be a sixth season for Community, which was officially canceled last week. Creator Dan Harmon tweeted:

Though the ratings were never stellar, the meta-humor sitcom had quite the cult following. But it just wasn't meant to be.

So, see you later, "Troy and Abed in the Morning"...

Bye, baggels...

Au revoir, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice...

Holla, Pierce Hawthorne!

R.I.P.

In other NBC sitcom news, it has been announced that Parks & Recreation will conclude after its seventh season in spring 2015, and will have a mid-season premiere rather than a full final season. Well thanks a lot, NBC.

We may have seen it coming with the mid-season loss of Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe, but it still stings. We hope Leslie Knope and the rest of the Pawnee gang wrap things up nicely for us. Until next season, we'll be reliving the good old days on Netflix...

With Rent-A-Swag...

Cones of Dunshire...

Tammy Two...

Champion the Three-Legged Dog...

And all things Ron Swanson.

Please don't go.
