Dexter

Just a "Poin-" away from nerd obscurity, naturally Dexter is a serial killer. Don't lock him up yet, though, because the murderous forensic specialist only hunts down the like-minded—those killers who have gone unpunished. Immediately we are introduced to a killer-on-the-loose more left-brained than our hero, urging what should equate to a season-long career rivalry. Dex's facade is amusing while his interior monologues grow tiresome, despite their necessity to provide mental instability. Dexter stabs at the nuances of a serial killer's mind while blending his efforts to fit in with a practiced counterfeiter's accuracy. Though it shouldn't fool an audience with a Master's in Psychology, the rest of us are treated to a sociopath creepier than Dick Cheney crashing your Yom Kippur Seder.
