Drawn Together

MTV may have completely exhausted our interest in watching "real" people drink "real" alcohol and have "real" intercourse, but it's a different story on Comedy Central's latest FCC-flouting series, Drawn Together. Gathering eight animated strangers picked to live in a house and have their lives taped, the show can be most accurately described as The Real World: South Park. Housemates include a naïve, singing princess who's as bigoted as she is buxom; a mystery-solving loose cannon aptly named Foxxy Love; a sexually confused adventurer who's on a "never-ending quest to save his girlfriend"; and an obnoxious Internet download whose favorite pastime is defecating on anything within his reach (including roommates). In the first episode alone, Drawn Together exploits classic Real World drama, such as racism, alcoholism, and lesbian romps in the hot tub (accompanied by the hilarious Disney-like song "What Is This Thing in My Mouth?").
