The WBs latest adventure in dating is basically Chains of Love without the chains, which begs the question, If the performing monkeys are free, why dont they escape?
On Elimidate Deluxe, a guy or gal goes on a date with four potential suitors from their hometown to a vacation hotspot (hence, the deluxe). Anyway, every once and a while, they have to tell someone to shove off, but there doesnt seem to be any punishment to losing. The winner doesnt get any money and youre already on the free vacation. Does anyone really care if they win the favor of a random bimbo or himbo? Although the concept is nothing special, we have to admit they did a decent job of casting people who were annoying enough to laugh at without being annoying enough to kill (the habitually shirtless motivational speaker, the flamenco guitarist with the made-up name no one could pronounce). Even so, on Thursdays at 8:30 P.M. (ET), the only audience members theyll attract are people who misplaced the remote.
