Mark Wahlberg's posse inspired the celebrity evolution of Vincent Chase and his Funky Bunch—consisting of Eric, Turtle, and Johnny Drama—now starting the second slice of Season 3. When last we saw our heroes, they had given Ari Gold, molten agent to the stars, the heave-ho, leaving them to hit the L.A. hot spots and finger-bang models. But there won't be any complaints here. Jeremy Piven's Gold is still on the hunt to win back Vinny; and a desperate Ari is a venomous Ari. Concrete friendships anchor the comedy set in the business of frivolity, and that is the charm. Entourage still pedestals the lifestyle of the rich and famous (and his pothead buddies), leaving us fellas wondering if Wahlberg has any spots open in his crew.
