Meet the family Simmons, headed by Kiss frontman Gene and his 23-year girlfriend Shannon Tweed, whom you may recognize from almost every late-night Cinemax movie since the eighties. Their two teenage children are Nick, a budding rocker, and Sophie, a hottie in the making. The family seems conscious of their own good fortune and self-aware enough to not take their broadcasted lives seriously. Unlike the Osbourne brood, the Simmonses give the foul-language censors a break and don't appear to be watching the clock for their next fix. That's saved for the second season.
