Henry Rollins is at it again. First he switched from punk rock to regular rock. Then he moved from spoken word to acting. Now hes attempting stand-up comedy. Unfortunately, while his music was bearable through its different incarnations, the transition from spoken word to stand-up is not nearly as digestible. He takes on subjects ranging from trying to crush his own penis in a toilet, the Bangkok heat, toyou might want to sit down for thisEnglands foul weather. None of this is funny, a fact proven when the camera pans over the audience and finds nothing but long faces. Rollins himself looks nervous throughout, clenching the microphone close to his mouth and standing as if hes still fronting Black Flag. The lesson: stay away from punk rock stand-up.
