Sure the frontline is all napping in the shade and ditch-digging, or so Beetle Bailey leads us to believe. Now Home Front presents the difficulties of war when a wounded soldier is brought home to the U.S. to fight his internal war. Army Ranger Jeremy Feldbusch suffers from shrapnel-induced blindness and mild psychosis received during a tour of duty in Iraq, and now must adapt to his conditions. Jeremy has guidance through basics like walking and reading, instruction on skiing without collision, and is encouraged to wield a deer-hunting rifle with more accuracy than Vice President Cheney. Outfitted with his familial support and a higher sense of purpose, Feldbusch focuses on assisting other injured soldiers in the Wounded Warrior Project with determination representative of our military.
