Kidnapped

The search is on for Leopold Cain, the emo son of Mr. and Mrs. Moneybags. While under protection of his skilled bodyguard, Leo's snatching could only have been performed by professionals. The Cains' sole option is to call in the heavy guns to find their son. Will the retiring federal agent or the reckless mercenary be best suited to find the 'napped kid? Keeping viewers guessing is crucial for Kidnapped to thrive. But obviously, it's the element of surprise that has been abducted, as each new angle feels like déjà vu from movies like Ransom. The respected cast, like Delroy Lindo, Dana Delany, and Jeremy Sisto will compensate for writing misfires, but it cannot make up for the lack of momentum. Capturing Leopold was the easy part, what it couldn't steal was our attention.
