Last Call with Carson Daly

Up until now Carson Daly has made a name for himself taking up space between Britney clips on TRL. With Last Call, Daly tries to take on more mature guests—if Kid Rock and Tenacious D could be described as “more mature”—in a sit-down interview environment. The surprise? He isn’t that bad. While Daly himself is about as bland as a cold bowl of oatmeal, his questions get the guests talking, and the loose set allows them to spill the beans in some areas they might not touch with Leno: in one segment, Kyle Gass of Tenacious D even admitted to smoking pot—the horror! You could do worse at 1:30 in the morning.
