Lewis Black is shaking and screaming again—this time taking aim at the IRS. For Taxed Beyond Belief, Black gathered some students at a St. John’s University lecture hall to spread his wisdom of the current tax system. Bringing his usual gusto to the table, Black walks us through a few of the system’s more redeeming qualities: the 123-page instruction book, the lack of verbs in any tax forms, a language used that “appears to be English.” His pure rage and the universally annoying subject matter make this watchable, although there’s only so much entertainment value in listening to someone bitch about taxes. Except really rich people—that’s funny.
