Tony and his cronies return from another extended vacation with a steadily extending family ready to dig up more trouble in the Jersey swamplands. The slippered old-timers who have watched the new regime take over from behind bars are being released and—adult diapers be damned—they’re ready to hit the mean streets running. Last year’s discarded subplots begin to reappear, too, as Adriana (Drea De Matteo) gets more heat from the Feds and former family allies are exposed. The newest high-profile cast addition comes from Steve Buscemi, who plays Tony’s cousin, Tony. (Curse those unoriginal Italians!) Fresh out of jail and under the watchful eye of his cousin, he’s looking to make a legit living this go-round. All of the personal and family issues plaguing Big T can still derail chunks of episode time, but the turf wars brewing among the old-schoolers should keep everyone looking over their shoulders.
