Being Bobby Brown

Leave it to the bad boy of R&B (rocks and blunts) to create a genuinely absurd series centering around his life that's not only watchable, but endearing and hysterical. Of course, most of Being Bobby's success can be attributed to his more famous, but equally troubled, wife, Whitney Houston, who steals much of the spotlight. Like all married couples, these two spend their free time yelling at one another and ignoring their kids; unlike most couples, they have a damn good time doing it. The show kicks off as Bobby's released from a stint behind bars. Desperate to see his wife, he finds her at a hotel where she emerges from her room wearing a tee from Beyoncé's recent tour. The irony isn't lost on Bobby or us, but it apparently is on Whitney, who spends most of their reunion searching for her lipstick. When you're not learning what it's like to be Bobby, Whitney fills in perfectly—dancing, singing, and making inappropriate remarks about bowel movements at the most appropriately hilarious times. Looks like TV's finally found a musical family that can laugh, curse, and snort just as much as the Osbournes.
