Painkiller Jane

Based on an Event Comic of the same name, Emmanuelle Vaugier plays Jane, a leathered-up supersoldier who is exposed to a biochemical agent that enhances her physical, mental, and regenerative performance. But having such a souped-up immune system makes her the central target of both U.S. and terrorist experimentation, and knowing who to trust won't be easy. On one side, there's Nick, a thief straight from a Supercuts modeling gig who provides as much assistance in an action sequence as a sports bra. Luckily, show-hopper Tate Donavan and movie pimp Richard Roundtree drop by to add familiar faces in this easy to follow storyline about an ass-stomping beauty that will invoke your inner masochist. The comic book faithful won't be disappointed either, as the TV version of Jane comes with more kick than a couple of extra-strength Excedrin followed by a Bushmills chaser.
