Less Than Perfect

Anything starring Andy Dick doesn't need such a redundant title, but that's not keeping the newsroom sitcom with a plus-size cast from beginning its fourth strong season. This year Claude (Sara Rue) has to settle into a new job, Carl (Will Sasso) has to settle his floppy jugs, and the office fruitcake (Andy Dick) simply has to settle the fuck down. Perfect has lasted this long because it understands that sitcom simplicity is more effective than overthought premises, which puts joke-writing first and characters, story lines, and canned laughter a distant second.
