Although one chick and five dudes may sound like a night with the Duke lacrosse team, instead it is the premise behind the comedy about a hot chick (Jordana Spiro) making it through her male-dominated life. Sports columnist P.J. Franklin knows everything about the Cubs and how to knock back a few beers while playing poker with the guys. What P.J. doesn't know is how to make a relationship work, especially when new guy Bobby joins her circle of friends. Disguised as a buddy comedy, Boys is more of a Sex and the City replica with voiced-over baseball analogies subbing for life lessons. Unassuming comedian Jim Gaffigan steals all his scenes as the only married member of the gang, but is by far the loser. There are four other guys satisfied with playing poker with their hot friend instead of trying to poke her.
