Hold on, if the room is lost then how can there be a three-part movie featuring said room? That is as paradoxically as unexplainable as how Kevin Pollack made it through with nary a Shatner impression. Detective Joe Miller discovers a hotel room key that turns any door into a portal to anywhere. With the resolve of a blind priest, Miller resists teleporting to the Lakers Girls locker room but, with the disappearance of his daughter, he still finds a way for the key to cause him trouble, launching him on a quest to find more magical objects. Room is as hard to believe as it is for a station dedicated to air only science-fiction schlock to thrive. Like the network, Room exceeds expectations with thrilling fantasy underscored by an inspired scenario. Humor and machismo proliferate the three-day event like a pre-baptized Mel Gibson film.
