Stan Lee returns for the second season of Sci Fi's spandexfest otherwise known as Who Wants to Be a Superhero?, a reality competition among nerds who hope to become the next legendary comic book character. This season's characters range from the supergay (literally) Parthenon to the supersexy Basura, and from the brainy Mindset to the brawny Defuser. The gang battles against the evil Dr. Dark and other supervillains as they complete various tests and competitions. The whole thing reeks of geeky, but fortunately, Lee—the godfather of comics—lends some much-needed credibility. Another plus is that with only 10 contestants and an elimination in the very first episode, it won't drag itself out like some of the other reality shows. Basically, if you have closets full of comics, you're in for some fun. For the rest of us, it's probably only good for a few laughs.
