As the show has done for the past two years, Prison Break kicks off its season with an awesome premiere episode full of action and a whole new list of unanswered questions. This season finds Michael Scofield and his perpetually furrowed brow as the man on the inside, with his formerly incarcerated brother the free man trying to formulate a plan. But bustin' loose from Sona, a lawless Panamanian prison where the inmates make the rules and the guards just keep the perimeter with shotguns, is going to take more than a couple of tattoos. Luckily, Scofield has some familiar (if not so friendly) faces to rely on in the form of Agent Mahone, Bellick, and T-Bag, each trying to survive their new harsh environment in their own way. The premiere offers plenty of nuggets to keep you watching, but each answer brings two new mysteries, leaving us with the nagging feeling that the series will, as in the past, lose some of its steam by midseason. Already convinced fans should find plenty to love here, including an excellent Robert Wisdom as the prison kingpin and sexy Jodi Lyn O'Keefe with hidden motives. But if you don't like secrets, wait for the DVD, which will save you from waiting in maddening suspense all season long.
