While this show isn’t quite as painful as standing in line at the supermarket, we’d still prefer to hit McDonald’s instead of watching. Leslie Pool (John Lehr) is the manager of Greens & Grains, a Ohio grocery store filled with an array or quirky stock boys and cashiers. The setting seems “ripe” for some fun plot lines, but after a few episodes, the series becomes as dull as your weekly trip for beer and Pepto-Bismol. Sure the idea of mixing the co-worker politics of The Office with the zany antics of Scrubs sounds like a good idea on paper, but aside from a sporadic laugh here and there (slaughtering a cow in the store for the freshest meat), you won’t check out of this shop with much.
