Robberies and homicides should produce more interesting television than this. That, and by now, Tom Sizemore should know better than to jump on a CBS drama. Everything from the cringe-inducing tough-guy attitude Sizemore adopts—apparently, policemen can storm into a house with no warrant when one of them needs to use the bathroom—to the ridiculous jumps in plots desperately seeking closure make for another crime show that needs to go the way of its victims. Throwing some Law & Order one-liners in for good measure, everything you’ve seen before in a “gritty” drama “from the streets of L.A.” on television is here, including the fact that “it should be canceled.”
