The Andy Dick Show

Andy Dick has been wowing the public with his brand of zany, outrageous, is-he-gay-or-isn’t-he humor for some time now. Whether there’s any substance to his schtick is still up in the air. With the third season of Mr. Dick’s show, he delivers more of the same—odd skits utilizing Andy’s hilarious last name, an insistance on the fact that repetition is funny, blah, blah, blah. Unfortunately, hearing dick puns for a half an hour isn’t exactly our idea of a good time and Andy fails to capitalize on the one positive aspect of his show—the mocking of MTV staples like Flipped and Dismissed. One can only wonder how quickly Mr. Dick would run out of material had he been named something less comedy friendly, like say, Andy Mangina.
