The Loop

The title, The Loop, could refer to either the show's urban Chicago setting or the endless circle of late nights at the club that run into early mornings at the office. Too bad it most appropriately reflects the repetitiveness of the young sitcom. Sam is a fresh and eager airline exec with a hard-ass boss and a hard-body roommate who is oblivious to his boyish charm. When managing hangovers quickly spells disaster at work, the scrappy Sam solves problems with an inexhaustible supply of successful "dog ate my homework" explanations. Unfortunately, his resourceful cop-outs are far more successful than the show's stale, scripted jokes, resulting in another long day at the office.
