John Daly may rule the eighteen, but Wings star Tim Daly runs The Nine, an action-filled drama about the bond created between nine victims of a bank heist gone wrong. Along with Daly, on recovery road are Kim Raver (guess she and Jack Bauer couldn't last a full 24 hours), Scott Wolf, and Chi McBride, a strong TV-savvy cast with trustworthy faces. The survivors are hopeful in their depressing world, relying on each other to not let the strain of memories crack them. Nine releases a slow reveal of possible deadly choices by both the robbers and the hostages within the bank, a manipulative trick in earning timeslot loyalty its primetime predecessor Lost has become expert at.
