Just when you thought the Mayans were wrong…the pint-sized redneck is back!
Forget Carly Rae Jepsen and those godawful replacement refs. The biggest newsmaker of 2012 was also the smallest: 7-year-old pageant queen Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson. The TLC reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which follows her and her redneck-and-proud-of-it family, was one of the hugest hits of the year, even beating out the Republican National Convention in the ratings. Well, they're back for 2013, with a series of "Holladay" specials (the name is based on Alana's oft-quoted phrase) filmed around Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. To whet your appetite—or, more accurately, to lose it—here's a clip of Honey Boo Boo's mom, June, expressing her hatred of mayonnaise. God help us all.
The first Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Holladay special, Halloween, airs Sunday, January 6th, at 9pm.
