The Simple Life: Interns

Like it or not, Paris Hilton and her professional accessory, Nicole Richie, are back for another installment of the duo's wholly absurd excuse for reality—and this time they mean business. Well, for about five minutes anyway. Then they revert to what they do best: whatever the hell they want for the sake of our plebeian entertainment. (Hey, we can’t judge—that’s all we ask of our interns, too.) This season, trading their meal tickets (i.e., daddy’s credit cards) for bus tickets, the girls “work” their way through various internships along the East Coast while building their résumés and bollixing up blue-collar businesses. Whether it’s changing oil at an auto shop or diapers at a daycare center, with each responsibility you can count on the party tandem to lay shame to the intern position in ways Monica Lewinsky could only dream of.
