There's a lot of TV options to choose from these days. Too much for any one person to completely monitor, but that doesn't mean we're not going to do our best to sift through all the listings and figure out what you should be watching every week...with all the highlights, lowlights and guilty pleasures you can stand.

10:00 p.m. Rizzoli & Isles (TNT)
10:00 p.m. Rizzoli & Isles (TNT)

TNT keeps rolling out surprisingly watchable summer shows—not surprising because TNT puts
them out, but because summer tends to produce complete crap, boob tube-wise—and we're hoping Rizzoli & Isles follows suit, despite the laughably bad title. It sounds like your basic cop show, teaming Angie Harman (as cop Rizzoli) with Sasha Alexander (as medical examiner Isles). Even if the plots are as thin as the concept, that's a lot of hotness in one hour.

10:00 p.m. After the Catch (Discovery)
10:00 p.m. After the Catch (Discovery)

It's been a tough season of Deadliest Catch this year. The series still has the usual nail-biting moments with dudes putting their lives on the line so you can have your fill at Captain D's, but the cloud of Captain Phil Harris' passing has made this latest voyage a sad one. This special episode celebrates the life of our favorite salty sea captain.

10:00 p.m. World's Wackiest Game Shows (Travel Channel)
10:00 p.m. World's Wackiest Game Shows (Travel Channel)

For some lighter and potentially more dangerous fare, check out this overview of competitive shows that entail far riskier participation than standing behind a podium and watching someone turn letters. WWGS covers all kinds of crazy game shows from around the globe. You think Wipeout's crazy? Then you obviously haven't seen the lengths that overseas go to in order to line their pockets with a little more cash. (We're looking at you, the Japanese.)
Wednesday, July 14th
11:00 p.m. Lopez Tonight (TBS)
11:00 p.m. Lopez Tonight (TBS)

George Lopez has gone way up in our books. (We've almost forgotten all about his involvement in The Spy Next Door.) In addition to having a pretty solid late-night talk show, he was also instrumental in getting Conan O'Brien to bring his show to TBS, so high-fives to George for that. Wednesday's episode of Lopez Tonight will be a must-see thanks to appearances by the always-hot Vivica A. Fox, not to mention Big Boi of OutKast plugging his new solo album. Maybe he'll croon a little "I Like the Way You Move" Vivica's way...
Thursday, July 15th
10:00 p.m. Ace of Cakes (Food Network)
10:00 p.m. Ace of Cakes (Food Network)

This week's episode combines three things we love: cake, comedy and comely ladies. 30 Rock's Tina Fey went to the Charm City Cakes guys to get two cakes; one to appear on the show, and one as a surprise for the 30 Rock cast. Here, they'll try and come up with something tasty that Alec Baldwin won't scream at. Maybe Tina will even pop out of a giant cake wearing as little as possible? Hey, a man can dream.
THE SILVER LINING
Tuesday, July 13th
10:00 p.m. The Hills (MTV)

For four years, the universe has been assaulted with the banal minutia of the lives of some of the most
spoiled (but insanely hot) people in the history of the world. As a result, even your grandma probably knows who Heidi and Spencer are. Well, this week, it's finally all over. The series wraps on Tuesday and, as you might expect, MTV will milk it a little more with another special called A Hollywood Ending. Good luck with that. And congrats, Hills hater Joel McHale; your suffering on The Soup can come to a close.
WEIRD SEX STUFF
Sunday, July 18th
10:00, 10:30 p.m. Strange Sex (TLC)

You gotta love a show that gets right down ot business with a title like TLC's Strange Sex. The first ep will look at the cougar and cub phenomenon with a 73-year-old woman and a 33-year-old dude
who have two kids. The second investigates a woman who claims she can make herself orgasm just by thinking about it. Ma'am, please, please donate your body to science. The less work for us, the better.
