Ever since she burst onto the scene wearing a skimpy fur-lined bikini in 1966’s One Million Years B.C., Raquel Welch has reigned as one of cinema’s most iconic sex symbols. The Chicago-born beauty stoked libidos from the mid-1960s through the 1970s and beyond, nabbing saucy film roles in Bedazzled (as lust incarnate), Myra Breckinridge (as the transsexual heroine) and Mother, Jugs, & Speed (as, you might have guessed, “Jugs”).  She starred in a campy TV variety special, appeared on Mork and Mindy, and was crowned “most desired woman of the 1970s” by Playboy.
