If this stunning starlet isn’t already on your radar, she damn well should be.

Rose Rollins is ready to show audiences a new side to her.

The California native, most recognizable from her standout role as Tasha on hit drama The L Word, may be accustomed to more serious roles, but it’s her latest take on ABC’s The Catch that she considers a standout in her career. “I loved playing Tasha, but since that role, I’ve wanted to show a little more of my feminine side and I have definitely found it in Valerie,” Rose told Maxim of her character on The Catch. “My character is a lot more outgoing which is more indicative of who I truly am, and this is the first time I get to have a lot of fun!”

The upcoming crime thriller and newest addition to Shonda Rhimes’ powerhouse Thursday night line-up, follows Alice Vaughan (Mireille Enos), a private investigator who becomes a victim of fraud by her fiancé and finds herself engaged in the ultimate game of cat-and-mouse between the two. Rose plays Valerie Anderson, Alice’s best friend and business partner at Anderson/Vaughn Investigations, one of the country’s leading private investigation firms.

With this being the fourth show under the Shondaland production umbrella, audiences might be curious what will set this latest addition apart from the pack. But the stunning 34-year old starlet promises we shouldn’t worry; the sexy, fast paced show will stand out all on its own. “I feel all of Shonda’s shows are incomparable with the only similarity being her strategic casting of a dynamic, powerful ensemble of actors,” Rose told Maxim. “But each of her shows have their own unique tempo. I think The Catch will represent that as well and will carve out it’s own little niche.”

You can judge that for yourself when The Catch premieres on ABC this Thursday, March 24th, at 10PM ET.

Rose spoke with Maxim about how to get her attention, never watching the same movie twice, and what’s next.

1. If you weren’t an actress and you could do anything else, no training required, what would you be doing?
I would be a chef. I love food and love cooking for others even more. It’s one of my other passions.

2. What’s your favorite curse word to use?
I fucking hate when someone asks me that question. Women never curse!

3. Do you have a favorite part of your body?
My stomach. But on a “good” day! I’m sure you know what that means. [laughs]

4. Is there a film you can repeatedly watch without getting bored?
Actually, I never watch the same movie twice, even if I love it. My friends think it’s weird.

5. How can a guy go about getting your attention?
Do not, under any circumstances, be a braggart. Red flag. Just make me laugh and you’re golden. I love to laugh.

6. What would you do on an ideal date?
An ideal date is someone paying attention to the foods I like and sourcing out a place where they make it best. Could be a five star restaurant or a taco truck. I don’t discriminate!

7. What’s the worst pick-up line you’ve ever heard?
When guys tell you to smile. I will smile when I feel the need! Don’t tell me what to do, dude! I don’t even know you!

8. Do you have a preference regarding men’s style and grooming habits?
I am very versatile with that one. As long as they shower, daily, I’m fine. I don’t mind letting a man be a man. Gimme some scruff!

9. If you could work with any actor/actress in the future, who would it be?
I am actually working with some people I admire at the moment on The Catch. I still pinch myself every so often.

10. So what’s next for you?
I am going to finish filming and then head off to Europe for a few weeks. So excited for both. After that, who knows?! But I will let you know as soon as I do!
