Hot 10: Tia Mowry

Being in the spotlight is a regular thing for this sexy ’90s cultural icon.

Tia Mowry has grown up. The stunning German-born actress gained plenty of attention from her first big role as Tia Landry in the hit sitcom, Sister, Sister, playing opposite her twin Tamera from ’94-’99. As the years went on, Tia continued to shine in front of the camera; the starlet nabbed the role of “Melanie Barnett” in CW/BET dram-com, The Game, with a performance that earned her several NAACP Image Award nominations.

Aside from her impressive list of credits, Tia has taken to working off screen when the cameras aren’t rolling, with several producer roles under her belt. The proud mother also debuted her first book back in 2012, with a second released earlier this year after joining forces with her sister.

Tia took a break from her busy life to tell Maxim all about her favorite album, how a man can get her attention, and what’s next.

For some reason, whenever I use the word ‘fuck’, people listen and stand  at attention. Because why not?

I feel the sexiest in my husband’s t-shirts, especially after he’s worn it all day.

A man just needs to smile if he wants to get my attention.

My favorite album right now has to Beyonce’s latest one. I could listen to ‘Drunk in Love’ over and over.

I’m really simple. An ideal date for me would be to cook dinner (I love to cook), eat in bed, and watch a movie.

With any free time I have, I’d take a high energy work out class at Soul Cycle, grab an outdoor bite somewhere by the beach and then finish it off by lounging at my pool.

I love spaghetti and meatballs. It’s a great comfort food and makes me happy!

I love a good goatee. I’m actually obsessed with goatees. I do like my men smooth though. I like him to smell really good, so a great cologne is always hot.

Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles & La Descarga are some of my favorite spots that you might catch me at.

As for what’s next, at the moment I’m an Executive Producer on Instant Mom and I also have a book series being released with my sister this spring.
