The Young Ferragamo’s Luxury Yacht

The clean lines and modern hull of Nautor’s Swan 95 reinvents the classic yacht.

The 28.95-meter Swan 95, built by the Finnish shipbuilders at Nautor’s Swan, was announced shortly after the renowned Rolex Swan Cup in Porto Cervo in September. The announcement was met with excitement for a damn good reason: Legend German Frers was told to design something stylish and capable of taking on big seas. He did.

With refined, distinctive lines and a displacement of only 57 tons, she is made for high performance racing as well as long haul cruising, making her an ideal addition to any (loaded) sailor’s fleet. She has a plumb bow and wide stern, giving her wide, spacious interiors that make extended voyages a pleasure for anybody on board.

She accommodates up to eight guests over three luxurious en-suite guest cabins, as well as the exclusive owner’s suite. Elsewhere, a generous main saloon and galley ensure a feeling of spaciousness. Crew are accommodated in two separate cabins. Decorated in a light teak woodwork with a satin finish, she oozes style and sophistication throughout.

Leonardo Ferragamo, son of Salvatore and Chairman of Nautor’s Swan, has described the boat as a “testament to Nautor’s commitment to innovation and product development” – which sounds about right. The continued expansion of the line with the Swan 95 proves that the company has big superyacht-y plans. The SwanLine also includes the Swan 105 RS which has been recently launched, as well as the Swan 115 S – four of which have been sold since January 2014. Ferragamos know how to build a brand.
