Just months after Demi Lovato celebrated six years of sobriety, the pop star has been hospitalized following an apparent drug overdose.

A source told People that Lovato is in "stable" condition. She was treated with Narcan—a nasal spray that reverses the effects of opioids—after authorities found her unconscious at an LA residence.

According to TMZ, the "Tell Me You Love Me" singer did not overdose on heroin, contrary to initial reports.

Lovato has spoken candidly about her battles with addiction and mental illness. Lyrics to a recently released song titled "Sober" appear to indicate that she's suffered a relapse.

“Mama, I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore / And daddy please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor. And I’m sorry for the fans I lost who watched me fall again / I wanna be a role model, but I’m only human.”

People obtained further details regarding Lovato's recent state from sources close to the situation.

“Things have been a total mess for months," the source said. "She and her team severed ties, and they played a large part in getting her sober years ago. She hasn’t been in a good place.”

Ariana Grande, Brad Paisley, Kesha, Bruno Mars and more have all showed their support for Lovato on Twitter:

Let's hope this "Warrior" comes out clean on the other side.
