#1 Jennifer Garner - This brown-haired beauty has come a long way from her role as Sydney Bristow on Alias, turning herself into one of Hollywood's more diverse leading ladies. After small roles in films like Pearl Harbor and Catch Me If You Can, Jennifer quickly garnered (see what we did there?) marquee billing in Daredevil, Juno, and the nutsack-shriveling Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. She's stars in the comedy The Invention of Lying, playing Ricky Gervais' love interest. No wonder she had morning sickness every day during filming. #2 Kirsten Dunst #3 Beyonce - Beyonce Knowles, a.k.a. Mrs. Shawn Carter, a.k.a. Sasha Fierce, or just simply Beyonce, first grabbed our attention as frontwoman of Destiny's Child, only to later go on to win five Grammys as a solo artist. She starred in films Austin Powers in Goldmember, Dreamgirls, Cadillac Records, and more. #4 Tara Reid - V is for Vicki…and Virgin: Tara launched her career as Vicki in American Pie by playing hard to get with her sex-craved boyfriend. And who could blame him? After she finally gave in, she broke it off before college. We were nearly as heartbroken as Kevin until she turned up even hotter in American Pie 2. But for the sake of the third-generation Stifler in American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile, we can only hope the newest Pie girls have learned from Vicky's mistakes. #5 Jessica Alba - She played a stripper in Sin City, had an unforgettable shower scene in Machete, and then the ever-hot knockout did the universe a favor by reprising her roles in the sequels for both. #6 Gisele Bundchen #7 Halle Berry - She caught our attention playing good girl to Robin Givens’ bad girl in Boomerang. She sizzled in The Rich Man’s Wife, conquered Warren Beatty in Bullworth, and won numerous awards, including a Golden Globe for best actress in a TV movie, for playing screen legend Dorothy Dandridge on HBO. She shows off her beautiful curves all over TV as a Revlon model and blows us away as Storm in the X-Men. #8 Christina Aguilera - This gorgeous pop superstar burst onto the scene as a teenager with the hit song "Genie In A Bottle," and, several years (and chart-toppers) later, made a splash as a coach on NBC's The Voice. #9 Monica Bellucci - With steamy shirtless roles in Bram Stoker's Dracula and Irreversible, Mon's never shied away from showing off the goods. So excuse us for being more than optimistic as she brings a hooker-turned-heroine to life on the Shoot 'Em Up DVD. The movie's only 90 minutes long, but you'll have to pay for the full two hours. #10 Jolene Blalock - The series regular as a Vulcan vixen on Star Trek: Enterprise gave a new meaning to the genre science fiction and fantasy. This knockout melts screens in the whodunit thriller Slow Burn, in which she may be concealing a dark secret. We're willing to frisk her to find out. #11 Leonor Varela - The Chilean import first gained U.S. attention as Cleopatra, the shrewd Egyptian queen who used her 18-year-old body make Julius Caesar's heart the consistency of an Orange Julius. Now she returns to Egyptian-themed material in the Hallmark Channel original The Curse of King Tut's Tomb, in which the cast must pay the ultimate price for getting broadcast on the chaste network. #12 Alicia Keys - She placed at No. 77 on our 2008 Hot 100 list; sings the new Bond theme song with Jack White; also stars in The Secret Life of Bees, which didn't interest us until right... now. #13 Eliza Dushku - Appearing in movies like Bring it On, City by the Sea, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Dushku originally won our hearts when she appeared on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1998 as another smoldering slayer with a stake. #15 Shakira - This Colombian pop singer has been rocking the charts since the '90s and has since catapulted her career to the small screen with her guest judging spot on the hit reality show The Voice. #16 Sarah Michelle Gellar - This versatile starlet has gone from slaying bloodsuckers on Buffy the Vampire Slayer to playing Robin Williams' daughter on CBS' The Crazy Ones. With any luck, she'll be heating up primetime for a good long while. #17 Brittany Murphy - Britt caught her break playing the brainless Tai in the teen "comedy" Clueless and has since been unable to snap out her character's glassy-eyed blundering. In 8 Mile, she was the fuel that ignited Eminem's battle rhymes and has since starred in sugary true-love flicks like Uptown Girls. #18 Kelly Hu - On the small screen in Sunset Beach, Nash Bridges, and Martial Law, and heating up the big screen in the movies Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan, The Doors, Surf Ninjas, No Way Back, The Scorpion King, Cradle 2 the Grave, X2: X-Men United, and Underclassman. Keep an eye out for her in The Shanghai Kid. #19 Rosario Dawson #20 Jessica Simpson - Our long national nightmare is over—Jessica Simpson is her own woman again. America's newest redhead gives you a primer on pickup lines, what she wants in a man, and how to kiss her. #21 Asia Argento - Something of a child prodigy, this Italian actress had appeared in 14 movies before she was 21. Will be appearing alongside Vin Diesel in the upcoming spy thriller XXX. #22 Mandy Moore - Mandy released her first album at age 15, but has since gone from pop tart to movie star, with roles in Walk to Remember and American Dreamz. You can catch her over the holiday in License to Wed as she and The Office's John Krasinski take on Robin Williams as a wedding pre-crashing priest. Guess this holy turn is penance for Patch Adams. And Toys. Oh, and RV. OK, pretty much anything that might make a Robin Williams box set. #23 Sofia Vergara - This sexy Colombian gets us right where it's important - the funny bone - thanks to her role on ABC's Modern Family. #24 Jamie-Lynn Sigler - She worked in musicals before landing the dream role as a Jersey Mob boss’ daughter. Sadly, Jamie-Lynn’s six-season Sopranos run is over. But just as Baywatch begat Baywatch Nights and Baywatch Hawaii, we demand a Meadow spin-off. Whaddya say, David Chase? #25 Amanda Peet - Stars opposite Mulder and Scully in The X-Files: I Want to Believe;appeared in chick flicks like A Lot Like Love and Something's Gotta Give; fired off a couple of topless rounds in The Whole Nine Yards; just saw requests for "Amanda Peet topless" increase by 22,000 percent on Google. #26 Naomi Watts - She captured our imagination in 2001's Mulholland Drive by participating in the best lesbian scene in cinematic history. Four years later she fell for an ape in King Kong, giving false hope to hairy, inarticulate men. #27 Summer Altice #28 Kim Smith - If you think the way she looks in a bikini is amazing, get this: Kim has also hit a hole in one! #30 Jaime Pressly - This gorgeous girl is best known for her role as Joy Turner on the sitcom My Name is Earl, but she’s also graced the big screen in films such as Joe Dirt and I Love You, Man. #35 Jordana Brewster - This remarkably good-looking Ivy Leaguer (she graduated from Yale) is the sexy star of the Fast and Furious franchise. #36 Susan Ward #37 Brooke Burke - After playing a starchy carbohydrate in Burger King's Super Bowl commercial, Brooke will host CBS's reality show Rock Star: INXS this summer. #39 Ali Larter - We believe all strippers are creatures of wonder and mystery, but none are as spectacular as Niki Sanders, the Webcam tease with a superhuman alter ego on Heroes. A woman as extraordinary as Ali can’t be confined to the small screen, however, which is why she’s starring later this year in Resident Evil: Extinction with Milla Jovovich. #49 Roselyn Sanchez - The Without a Trace actress is not only beautiful; she will also beat a chick down. "I have no real life experience with girl-fights, but I think I'd be good at it," she says. "I'd kick any girl's ass." Mee-yowch! #50 Laura Prepon #52 Gabrielle Union - This sultry actress has starred in movies including Bring It On, Bad Boys II, Think Like a Man (and the sequel, Think Like a Man Too), as well as the BET show Being Mary Jane. #54 Eva Mendes - In addition to steaming up the big screen in Training Day with Denzel Washington, this gorgeous Miami native has starred in Hitch, The Place Beyond the Pines, The Other Guys, and 2 Fast 2 Furious.
#55 Nelly Furtado - Thanks to high-cred producer Timbaland, Nelly Furtado went from birdlike Lilith Fair staple to promiscuous girl on her highly acclaimed comeback album, Loose, which reached number one on the Billboard charts. She just wrapped a world tour, belting out hits like “Maneater” and “Say It Right,” so save those camera phone pics (we won’t tell anyone). #57 Bridget Moynahan - This former model turned Tom Brady arm candy will appear in the upcoming thriller Unknown, about five guys who wake up in a creepy warehouse and claw each other to death to win Bridget's hand. #58 Talisa Soto #60 Molly Sims - She caught our eye as a swimsuit model, then ditched the surf for Sin City as a star of TV’s sexed-up Las Vegas. And while that show might be ending soon, it just means she’ll have more time for movies like Steve Martin’s The Pink Panther 2 and Jim Carrey’s Yes Man. #63 Scarlett Johansson - Perched high atop the A-list, this dangerously curvy bombshell (and possessor of Hollywood’s most luscious lips) has the acting chops to back up her mind-melting hotness. We’ve watched her in indie films (Lost in Translation, Match Point). We’ve watched her in chick flicks (The Nanny Diaries, The Other Boleyn Girl). Truth is, we’d rapturously watch her sort her recycling. But first we’ll be in line for her most guy-friendly project yet, the noirish, Frank Miller–directed The Spirit. #70 Sarah Wynter - This saucy Aussie keeps us coming back each week for more, in Fox’s intense dramatic series 24. #74 Sarah Silverman - Who says swearing isn't ladylike? Coming out of Sarah's mouth, those hurt words are like sweet, sweet nothings. #78 Monica Keena - This Brooklyn babe made her film debut in 1995 alongside Sandra Bullock in the romantic comedy While You Were Sleeping. Jumping between the silver screen and TV, Keena had small roles in TV shows such as Dawson's Creek, Undeclared, and Entourage, and played the heroine in slasher flick Freddie vs. Jason. #80 Tina Fey #82 January Jones - Her first L.A. boyfriend may have doubted her acting chops, but, currently starring as the beautiful Betty Draper on the hit Mad Men, January has gleefully proved him wrong. (In your face, Ashton!) #84 Elisha Cuthbert - This Canadian bombshell made a noteworthy appearance in Old School, fulfilled the adolescent fantasies of every man in America in The Girl Next Door, and continued to make us laugh in the ABC show Happy Endings. But no matter how big she gets, to us she'll always be Kim Bauer from 24. #95 Rose Byrne #96 Cameron Richardson - Best known for her stint on the CBS drama Harper's Island, Richardson can also be found in Entourage, Murder in the First, and The Lottery. #97 Kelly Brook - The sultry Kelly Brook is one of the UK's hottest models and actress (she made Piranha 3D relatively watchable).
You voted, we counted, and the rest is super sexy history. From mind-bogglingly seductive supermodels to Hollywood,s most awe-inspiring actresses (with a bevy of beauties in between), the women of 2002 make up a roster so undeniably breathtaking you may get light-headed just reading it.
